DO I GET THE SAME MEMBER OF THE BANCROFT’S TEAM FOR EACH ORGANISATION OR CLEANING JOB THAT I BOOK?

We aim to provide you with the same member(s) of the team each time so that you can build a relationship with them. However this may not always be possible but we endeavour to offer consistency where we can - we pride ourselves on our warm and familiar approach

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ITEMS YOU TAKE AWAY WHEN DECLUTTERING?

We will give them to a reputable charity.

HOW LONG DOES A HOME OR OFFICE ORGANISATION JOB TAKE?

We aim to sort through the average-sized messy and cluttered room in four/five hours. This is a benchmark but we will give you an accurate time when we see the space.

WHAT IS  A BANCROFT'S EVENT PLANNING TOOLKIT?

We have created planning toolkits for different types of events.
They are a pack which includes items like:

Game ideas
How- to -guides

SHOULD I BE AT HOME DURING MY CLEANING TIME?

It is completely up to you if you wish to be at home during the clean. We recommend that you are at home for the clean as you can personally show your cleaner exactly what is required. We will work with you to draw up a customer satisfaction checklist or a Bancrofts Brief prior to the job, so in the event you cannot be home then the cleaner has details of the work required.

CAN I GIVE MY CLEANER A SET OF KEYS?

Yes you can. If you choose to give the cleaner a set of keys (something we can arrange with you before the job) then we ask that you sign a key agreement form. 

CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Last minute cancellations and reschedules impact on the Organisers and Cleaners schedules and earnings so if you do need to cancel or reschedule your booking (these situations pop up for all of us at one time or another!), please do so at least 48 hours in advance of your booking taking place. This allows us enough time to reallocate our resources.


Failure to let us know of a cancellation or change in booking with at least 48 hours notice will result in a £40 cancellation fee for home cleaning jobs, £60 for office cleaning jobs and £50 for home organisation and office bookings - it’s about more than just money, taking care of our team is of the utmost importance to us.

THE NITTY GRITTY

Everyone likes their space to be cleaned in a particular way and we want you to have full autonomy. At Bancroft’s we want to empower you to be the change you want to see in your life, so the reins are in your hands… you can lead a horse to water and all that… You can add specific tasks and requests to your personalised Bancroft’s Brief, but we provide the following as a general service:
 

Kitchen
Dust & Wipe all surfaces
Clean the sink & wash the dishes
Clean the microwave & all appliances
Vacuum or mop floors
Removal of rubbish from bins & replace bin liners
Wipe kitchen surfaces, oven tops & replace bin liners
Clean outside of the fridge & oven

Bathrooms
Dust & wipe surfaces
Clean the toilets
Clean showers & bath inside & out
Sinks will be left shining
Clean all mirrors & fixtures
Vacuum or mop floors
Removal of rubbish from bins & replace bin liners
Towels neatly hung
Bedrooms & General Areas
Dust & wipe surfaces
Clean mirrors & fixtures

Vacuum or mop floors
Removal of rubbish
Make the bed & change the sheets
Neatly fold any loose cloths
Wiping chairs and tables

WHAT SERVICES DON’T WE OFFER?

We can’t currently offer the following due to safety, insurance and other reasons:


Cleaning of exterior window

Carpet cleaning
Animal waste removal
Gardening & garden shed cleaning
Mould removal

DO BANCROFTS BRING THEIR OWN SUPPLIES?

If required yes, your cleaner can bring their own cleaning supplies with them. There is an additional charge of £2.00 per hour.
The supplies that your cleaner will provide includes:


·Kitchen cleaner
Bathroom cleaner
Window & glass cleaner
Toilet disinfectant
Oven cleaner
Products against limescale
Super absorbent cloths
Rubber gloves


We do not provide a vacuum, mop or buckets so please make sure these are available if you require their use.

CAN I TIP MY CLEANER?

It is entirely up to you! Of course it is not required but is left to the discretion of the customer. 
(Cleaners - your tips are your own! You earned them!)

CAN I TRUST MY PROFESSIONAL ORGANISER OR CLEANER 

All of the bancrofts team have gone through a full application process including an in-person interview and DBS and reference checks.

CAN I BOOK A SAME DAY SERVICE?

Sorry we don’t offer same day cleaning at the moment but we hope to be able to in the future. In some cases we do offer a same day organisations service. Give us a call and we can let you know.

DO BANCROFTS PROVIDE INSURANCE?

Although very rare, we understand that accidents can happen. If an organiser or cleaner has accidentally broken an object or another similar situation has occurred, then it’s best to follow the below steps:

 

1.      Please contact us: We do have public liability insurance up to the value of £1,000,000 and professional indemnity insurance up to the value of 1,000,000. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.

2.      Home Insurance: If you do prefer you can use your home insurance provider and you will likely be able to claim on the home insurance policy.

HOW LONG SHOULD I BOOK?

It really depends on the size of your house, what you include on your Brancroft’s Brief and what kind of clean you would like. A 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house generally takes approximately 3 hours, but it’s best if we talk this over with you.

 

We want to personalise this experience and tailor it to your specific needs.
For home organisation for an average sized room we recommend approximately 4 hours but of course this can vary depending upon the amount of clutter for example.

HOW DO I PAY?

We ask service contract customers to pay by Bank Faster Payment service or by standing order.

As from January 2021 we will also be accepting payment by card. We accept all major debit and credit cards. We do not store any card numbers.

 

When must payment be made?

Organisation bookings: 

We ask for a 50% deposit to be made in advance but no later than on the day prior to the booking itself.

50% paid on completion

 

Cleaning bookings:

We ask for full payment to be made in advance but no later than on the day prior to the booking itself.

 

Event planning bookings:

We ask for a 50% deposit to be made in advance but no later than on the day prior to the booking itself.
