DO I GET THE SAME MEMBER OF THE BANCROFT’S TEAM FOR EACH ORGANISING JOB I BOOK?

We aim to provide you with the same member(s) of the team each time so that you can build a relationship with them. However this may not always be possible but we endeavour to offer consistency where we can - we pride ourselves on our warm and familiar approach

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ITEMS YOU TAKE AWAY WHEN DECLUTTERING?

We'll donate them to a reputable charity, suggest repurposing ideas or can help you to sell them on the online marketplace of your choice.

HOW LONG DOES A HOME OR OFFICE ORGANISATION JOB TAKE?

This depends on the size of the space and the volume if items to be decluttered, sorted and organised. . The initial consultation is when we assess the space and provide with an estimation of time and cost.

WHAT IS  A BANCROFT'S EVENT PLANNING TOOLKIT?

We have created planning toolkits for different types of events.

DO I NEED TO BE THERE WHEN YOU ARE DECLUTTERING & ORGANISING IN MY HOME?

We're happy to work with you when we're decluttering and organising your home. Some clients prefer to work alongside the organiser and some prefer to leave clear instructions and ask the organiser to complete the job that way. Either way we'll work with you to draw up a customer satisfaction checklist or a 'Bancrofts Brief' prior to the job to make sure we get the job done the way you would like and in the event you can't be home then the organiser has details of the work required.

CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Last minute cancellations and reschedules impact on the Organisers schedules and earnings so if you do need to cancel or reschedule your booking (these situations pop up for all of us at one time or another!), please do so at least 48 hours in advance of your booking taking place. This allows us enough time to reallocate our resources.


Failure to let us know of a cancellation or change in booking with at least 48 hours notice will result in a £50 for home organisation and office bookings - it’s about more than just money, taking care of our organisers really matters to us.

CAN I TRUST MY PROFESSIONAL ORGANISER? 

All of the bancrofts team have gone through a full application process including an in-person interview and DBS and reference checks.

CAN I BOOK A SAME DAY SERVICE?

In some cases we do offer a same day organising service. Give us a call and we can let you know.

DO BANCROFTS PROVIDE INSURANCE?

Although very rare, we understand that accidents can happen. If an organiser or cleaner has accidentally broken an object or another similar situation has occurred, then it’s best to follow the below steps:

 

1.      Please contact us: We do have public liability insurance up to the value of £1,000,000 and professional indemnity insurance up to the value of 1,000,000. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.

2.      Home Insurance: If you do prefer you can use your home insurance provider and you will likely be able to claim on the home insurance policy.

We also accept payment by card. We accept all major debit and credit cards. We do not store any card numbers.

 

When must payment be made?

Organising bookings: 

We ask for a 50% deposit to be made in advance but no later than on the day prior to the booking itself.

Event planning bookings:
